There’s a Biz in the air around here. I need a budget to see if getting some help with the Advent Calendar from a crowdfunding expert would be the right move for me. In order to do that, I need a complete budget as they work on a percentage basis. But let’s face it, I need a complete budget anyway. So I’m talking to shippers, warehousers, artists, designers, game manufacturers and probably there are others I don’t know about.
Business does not come naturally. Writing is what I do best. Business is what I do if I have to, I guess. If I am to bring my projects to the world, to the public, perhaps to you, then business is what I have to do. It appears that I may be able to get others to do everything and all it will cost is everything. Or I could try to do everything myself and hoard all the profits. I don’t really see a middle ground. I need to go big or go small. I should have a clearer idea in September which it will be.
Look for an actual newsletter at that time. I have a few people signed up to my all-important mailing list. I’ll drum up a few more by actually, you know, contacting people and letting them know about this. And then they’ll get the newsletter. Simple, right? Apparently not, but I’ll do it anyway.
As for the novel, I have decided that I will need a side story to give away as a Magnet. Really, I already have that. There just isn’t a novel yet. But every day there is more novel than there was before. Be well.
